We've all heard the story... Resurrection Sunday... dawn breaks... Mary Magdalene and the other Mary are there with us. The stone! It's been rolled away! The tomb is open! We venture a look in... He's not there! He is risen!
Then we hurry into town to find the disciples... passing other tombs along the way. Do our eyes deceive us? Other stones have been rolled away! Other tombs are empty! Uncle Hershel... who's been dead for years... is standing at the door of his house... "Hey Elizabeth! I'm home!"
I'm not making this up! Check out the verses from Matthew 27:50-53, "Then Jesus shouted out again, and he released his spirit. At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. The earth shook, rocks split apart, and tombs opened. The bodies of many godly men and women who had died were raised from the dead. They left the cemetery after Jesus’ resurrection, went into the holy city of Jerusalem, and appeared to many people."
More than one stone was rolled away on Resurrection Sunday! Listen to what the Lord spoke to my spirit...
"All the stones to the tombs were rolled away. Your stone was rolled away! The infirmity causing death in your body was destroyed when your stone was rolled away. Come out of your grave and live again! Walk through your day with resurrection power flowing through your veins. The opening to your tomb of infirmity is open. Come out! Come out! Come Out! I have rolled away your stone!"
Hallelujah! (That's "Holy Moly" in Biblese). My stone is rolled away! I‘m walking in stone breaking, tomb opening, cemetery emptying resurrection power! As the Elevation Worship song "Rattle" says, "Open the grave, I'm coming out. I'm gonna live, gonna live again."
Thank you, Jesus!!!
